Detroit: Become Human

Detroit: Become Human” is an action-adventure, intuitive computer game intended for PS4. It is one of the best thriller video game developed by Quantic Dream. There are several playable characters called androids; out of which one character is “Kara”. Kara escapes the factory she was made in to explore the so-called world of human beings and feel exactly what humans do feel every day: to see daylight, to feel sunshine on her skin, wind on her face, the colors and smells. But to her utter surprise the world was not as she had imagined. It is dark and cold, unfair and brutal. She sees the world in her vision and come to her own conclusions.
On the other hand there is another character named Connor, whose work is to hunt down the androids that have mysteriously deviated from their programmed behavior like that of Kara. Humanoids were made for the use of human beings and were given the power to feel, to live. Some out of curiosity wanted to get out of what they are made for and wanted to live their own life, which was not allowed and they were found and shut down by Connor-the vigilant.

The best thing about this game is there are a lot of playable characters which are made to live or perish depending on the choices of the gamers and that won’t affect the game. The story would go on as customizing by the players. Another fascinating component is that there is no “game over” message following a character’s demise. The story will branch out according to the choices made. Getting clues at crime scenes allows the players to reconstruct and replay the events that occurred.

Some technical advancement in this game which is different from any game is dynamic lighting, rendering, shading and cameras.
The game was announced on 27 Oct, 2015 at as Sony press conference.

Detroit: Become Human was nominated for 2016 Best E3 Game Critics Awards for the category Best Original Game.
